Cognition Systems is currently in prelaunch. This page describes our current practices as of the prelaunch period and is intended as a practical placeholder, not final legal advice. It will be revised before general availability.

This policy covers the Cognition Systems public website, waitlist and early access forms, feature feedback tools, and the authenticated console during the prelaunch period.
2. Visitor data
When you browse our public pages, we collect standard usage data such as pages visited, referring source, UTM parameters, and approximate session behavior through our analytics tools. This helps us understand what resonates before launch.
3. Waitlist and early access form data
When you join the waitlist or request early access, we collect the information you submit — name, email, company, role, use case, and related fields — to evaluate requests, prioritize access, and follow up by email. We may sync this information to our CRM (HubSpot) to manage outreach.
4. Account and authentication data
If you create an account, authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We store your resulting account, tenant, and workspace records in our backend to power the console experience.
5. Analytics and tracking tools
We use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, and Microsoft Clarity to understand product usage and improve the experience. These tools may set cookies or use local storage identifiers. We do not send raw feedback comments to any third-party analytics tool.
6. Communications and email
If you join the waitlist, request early access, or create an account, we may email you about your request, product updates, and launch announcements. You can ask us to stop at any time.
7. Data retention and deletion requests
We retain prelaunch data for as long as reasonably needed to operate the waitlist, early access program, and product development. To request deletion or export of your data, contact us using the details below.
